RULES ANDS REGULATIONS

1. The registration will be valid only when the student has paid the full amount of the course selected. The payment may be made in cash/card/Bank transfer/DD issued in favour of Mundo Latino(The Institute).No student will be admitted in class without having paid the course fee.
2.The registration includes the right to attend the course, to be present in the examination and to obtain the corresponding certification on completion of the course.
3. The minimum number of students required to start a particular batch is Four (4). In the case a batch is started with lesser number of students, the Institute reserves the right to modify the total number of hours of the course.
4. Mundo Latino does not have the obligation to make-up for time lost by the student through absence(*).
5. Examination dates are fixed by the Institute. Students are required to be present on the stipulated date only. Under very exceptional circumstances a student may avail of a different examination date based on written request to the Director providing all requisite details of the reasons for not presenting the examination as per schedule. In case the same is permitted it will be with payment of an additional fee on the part of the student (**).
6. Once registered, a class or timing option cannot be changed, irrespective of the reasons.Transferring batches is not a possibility.
7. To maintain the quality standards, students are required to clear examinations with a total percentage above 60% to proceed to the next level. In case the student scores between 40-60% the student is eligible to undertake re-examination once by paying the exam fee. The date for re-examination would be fixed in consultation with the student and has to be within 15 days of the declaration of result. Students who score less than 40% will have to re-register in the same level paying the full fee.
8. Only those students who pass the levels with the required percentage will be awarded with the corresponding certification of the respective level.
9. Any person with previous knowledge of Spanish and/or a student with a gap of more than 6 months between courses, shall first undertake a Level Test to determine the most appropriate course for their linguistic proficiency. This test incurs a nominal fee and is valid for a period of one month during which the person can register to the corresponding course by paying full amount.
10. No refunds can be claimed after admission under any circumstances.
11. In the private tuition the registered no. of hours have to be completed within the agreed period of time. After that the enrolment will expire and fresh registration will be needed for subsequent classes.
12. All study materials provided by ML are its property and should not be reproduced and/or distributed without written consent from the Director. Any unauthorised use of the materials or copying will be liable for legal action.
13. The certificate needs to be collected in person by the student within 45 days of presenting the final examination. The Institute will not be responsible for certificate handover post 45 days.
14. Students will conduct themselves in a proper and dignified manner at all times. Any unruly or discourteous behaviour may lead to cancellation of admission.
15. The student agrees to abide by all the rules and regulations of Mundo Latino that are enforced or may come into existence during their association with the Institute.
16. The student accepts that all decisions of the management of the institute will be final.

(*) Students already registered in the group class can fix an extra class which be considered as private tuition. Special fee of Rs 1,000/ hour will be charged in advance for such classes. The classes have to be fixed by prior appointment.
(**) Students who request for the exam on any date other than the fixed schedule, will have to pay Rs 2,000/- in advance for the same. The reschedule permission would be awarded after reviewing the case. The proof for not attending the exam needs to be provided to the authorities before hand.

⇒ Mundo Latino offers diploma at international levels - A1, A2, B1, B2 and C1.
⇒ Pls note - As a special facility the successful students may request issuance of one such Diploma free of charge.
⇒ There is a nominal fee of Rs 1,000/- for issuance of diploma on request otherwise.
